Merry Christmas!

Jesus is our true joy and hope.

Jesus alone is the hope of the whole world.

The Bible warns of wars, pestilence, and famine in the last days. We have experienced a bit of all three this past year.

Yes, looking back at the year 2022, it was one tough year.

Even though the coronavirus has died down quite a bit, we are not out of the woods yet. Putin started the needless war last February, putting many lives in danger. The deadliest foe is climate change and all its effects.

The weather experts say that this weekend's brutal cold and snowstorm across North America result from global warming. When I heard it first, I was confused. How is global warming related to cold weather? The answer is that the rise in Artic temperature weakened the jet stream and allowed the cold temperature to travel south.

I believe that global warming will be humanity's greatest enemy moving forward. I bet it will be one of the leading causes, if not the cause, triggering the End. The nuclear threats from pariah states like Putin's Russia and Kim Jung-eun's North Korea certainly do not help.

Everything points to the closing of the End. Shouldn't we put our sole hope in Jesus Christ, our Lord? Should we not seek our hope and peace in him?

Let us proclaim that the Saviour is born.
