New Worship Times Starting March 20th

Dear CoaH,

As you know, all worship services and church facilities will return starting March 20th. Following the Ontario government's guidelines, we will still wear masks indoors. However, there will be no need to maintain two-meter social distancing or to show vaccine passes when entering the building. I am personally excited to see our children return to church after more than two years. Yes, finally, they will be here.

The Session met last Sunday and went over the worship times one more time. The elders wanted to ensure that everything flowed smoothly on hectic Sundays, especially after listening to you and the teachers' feedback. Here are some notable adjustments.

First, we will continue to give two hours for each service. According to the announcement on February 4th, Coah worship would start at 11:30 am, preceded by the 9:45 am service and followed by the 1:15 service. The amended worship time will be back to 8 am, 10 am, and 12 pm.

Second, the time for the last Korean service (scheduled at 1:15 pm) will go back to noon, except the service will move from the main sanctuary to the Vision chapel. This move will allow the Coah service to take place in the main sanctuary at noon. The change to a smaller chapel is a massive inconvenience for many Korean-speaking members who have been worshiping in the main sanctuary. I ask for your understanding and acceptance.

The Coah worship time will change from 11:30 am to noon. The Session’s decision to move the Coah worship (English) to the main sanctuary at 12 pm is a statement in itself. The Session believes that Coah’s central presence and dynamic growth are an integral part of Young Nak Church’s future. I pray that all Young Nak members will accept the adjusted times well with a deep sense of hope and purpose.

May the LORD bless you.
