AWANA

AWANA, a Bible focused children’s ministry resumes on Wed., Sept. 11 from 7:30-8:45pm at the Immanuel Chapel (Rm 108). Registration forms and pamphlets are available at the Welcome Centre.  Completed forms can be submitted at the CoaH office or on Sept. 11. 

AWANA is looking for teachers that will serve every Wednesday from 7-8:45pm.  Volunteers need to have completed membership class and D1.  Contact Pastor Edgar Nho (awana@coahtoronto.com) for more info.

Wednesdays in the Word (Fall Session)

The topic of study will be the greatest piece of Christian fiction ever written — John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress. Purchase your copy at the book store and get a head start on the reading. Classes begin Sept. 11 for 10 sessions (7:30-8:45pm; rm 208) Email office@coahtoronto.com by Sept. 4 to register.

Baptism/Confirmation/Membership Classes

  • Are you a follower of Jesus Christ and have not yet been baptized/confirmed as an adult?  Classes will be held Sundays, Sept. 8 & 15 (10am-12:30pm). Register by Aug. 25. Email office@coahtoronto.com or pick up a form at the Welcome Centre. Note: Baptism/Confirmation class joins membership class on Sept. 22.
  • Interested in becoming a member of City on a Hill? Membership Class will be held Sept. 22 (10am-12:30pm). Register by Sept. 8. Pick up forms at the Welcome Centre or email office@coahtoronto.com

 

Cornerstone Ministry

will be serving and feeding people in need on Aug. 3 from 2-8pm (40 Oak St.). E-mail cornerstone@coahtoronto.com or sign up at the Welcome Center today if you wish to help or for more info.

 

CoaH Summer Picnic

(Aug. 18; 3:15pm; YN bbq area) Join us for great food and even greater fellowship. Bring blankets and chairs to sit on. Shade shelters are welcome.

Most importantly, invite your friends to church and to the picnic.
